PETALING JAYA: Pasir Bedamar state assemblyman Woo Kah Leong has offered himself as a candidate for DAP Youth chief in the party elections scheduled for Nov 17.
He announced his team for the party polls at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur, Bernama reported.
Woo is proposing Balakong state assemblyman Wayne Ong as his deputy and Seremban city councillor Louis Lim as his secretary.
He said his team represented all races and backgrounds.
Woo said he had four candidates for the vice-chief position and 15 candidates as committee members, including female candidates and representatives from Sabah and Sarawak.
He said seven of the 22 candidates in the team are state assemblymen.
Woo urged more youths to join DAP Youth as it was a good way to achieve their political aspirations.
