DBKL cracks down on 6 photos touts operating at KLCC

City Hall says 11 cameras and accessories were seized in the operation.

PETALING JAYA:
Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) cracked down on six photo touts operating at KLCC in an operation yesterday.

DBKL said the operation was carried out with the police and national registration department (JPN), targeting the unlicensed photographers.

In a Facebook post, it said 11 cameras and accessories were seized.

DBKL also revealed that five of the touts were foreigners.

Compound notices were issued against them under the Licensing of Hawkers (Kuala Lumpur) By-Laws 2016, which provides for a maximum fine of RM2,000.
