PETALING JAYA:
Service on the Kelana Jaya LRT line is experiencing delays due to a faulty switch.

The line’s operator, Rapid KL, said alternative train arrangements have been activated.

In a statement, Rapid KL said trains from Gombak would stop at Abdullah Hukum and turn back.

Trains from Putra Heights meanwhile will stop at Universiti and turn back.

Shuttle train services are running between Universiti and Abdullah Hukum.

“Our technical teams are carrying out repair works to ensure that normal service resumes as soon as possible,” Rapid KL said.

It advised passengers to refer to its social media pages or the PULSE app for the latest updates.

On April 1, the Kelana Jaya LRT line experienced delays after a tree branch fell on the tracks near Taman Paramount.

The next day, a power outage between the Awan Besar and Sri Petaling stations led to delays in service on the Ampang-Sri Petaling line.
