Melaka police chief Dzulkhairi Mukhtar said the 39-year-old, who lives with his mother, stored the sweets in the refrigerator at their home in Sungai Putat, but was unaware that the girl had eaten them.
Dzulkhairi said the child was taken to Melaka Hospital in a semi-conscious state on April 14, where a urine screening confirmed the presence of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), or cannabis, according to Harian Metro.
“The victim was reported to have lost consciousness after consuming the sweets and was taken to Melaka Hospital for treatment,” he said.
The influencer has been detained to assist in an investigation under the Child Act 2001 and is being probed for exposing the child to danger.
