BUKIT MERTAJAM: A two-year-old boy was killed while his mother was seriously injured after her motorcycle skidded and crashed into a stone wall this morning.
The woman, 30, was believed to be taking her two other children to school on her motorcycle.
Seberang Perai Tengah police said the woman was believed to have lost control of the machine, causing it to skid before crashing into a stone wall by the roadside.
“She sustained serious head injuries, while her two-year-old son died in hospital from head injuries, a police statement said.
The woman’s seven-year-old daughter suffered minor injuries while her five-year-old sister escaped unhurt.
