
Chai arrived at 9.45am to continue giving his statement in an ongoing investigation into alleged misconduct linked to a RM1.1 billion government deal with chipmaker Arm Holdings signed in March last year, Bernama reported.
Yesterday, he spent about eight-and-a-half hours giving his statement to MACC officers after returning from the UK, where he is currently based.
MACC chief commissioner Azam Baki previously said 12 witnesses from various government agencies, including a former minister, had given their statements to assist in the investigation.
The other officials included top officers in the economy ministry, the investment, trade and industry ministry, and the Malaysian Investment Development Authority.
