PETALING JAYA:
A man accused of driving under the influence and crashing into a motorcycle, killing a husband and wife in Kuala Lumpur earlier this month, will be charged tomorrow.

Kuala Lumpur traffic investigation and enforcement chief Zamzuri Isa said the suspect would be charged with two counts of murder under the Penal Code at about 9am.

On May 2, a car crashed into a motorcycle near Menara Great Eastern in Jalan Ampang at about 5.30am.

The motorcyclist, a 61-year-old man, and his 56-year-old wife, who was riding pillion, suffered serious head injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two passengers in the car were also injured. A 23-year-old man was treated for head injuries, while another man, 24, suffered cuts to his lips and tongue and was later discharged.
