“Wait and see,” she said briefly when asked if action would be taken against the two MPs, who are set to announce their new “political direction” this Sunday.
Rafizi and Nik Nazmi stepped down as Cabinet ministers in May last year after losing the PKR deputy presidency and vice-presidency, respectively.
Since then, Rafizi has been openly critical of both the government and the party, while hinting that he may eventually leave PKR and defend his Pandan seat independently.
Yesterday, Rafizi said they had carefully considered various views and factors in determining the next chapter of their political journey.
Nik Nazmi separately said Malaysians needed politics that is progressive, moderate, and truly people-centred.
Rafizi has been Pandan MP for two terms, while Nik Nazmi is serving his second term as Setiawangsa MP and was previously Seri Setia assemblyman from 2008 to 2018.
