Terengganu JPJ director Zamri Samion said officers seized the footballer’s Ford Raptor after it was stopped at a roadblock at 4.20pm today, Berita Harian reported.
Checks found that the vehicle’s road tax expired in January last year and had not been renewed since then.
Yesterday, JPJ said it impounded a total of 1,814 vehicles in a special nationwide operation targeting luxury vehicles, which included one belonging to the former national football player.
The former player’s driving licence had also expired in December.
He was reportedly Terengganu FC’s top scorer in the Malaysia Cup tournament during the 2025/2026 season.
