KOTA KINABALU: Sulaman assemblyman Hajiji Noor today welcomed Warisan’s stand on accepting PPBM’s entry to Sabah, saying it shows the maturity of Warisan president Shafie Apdal.
“I would like to thank Shafie for welcoming PPBM’s entry into Sabah,” he said when contacted in Mecca. “This shows he is a leader with a big heart.”
He added that strong collaboration between state and federal governments was crucial for the interest of the people.
“Strong ties between the state and federal governments will enable a more effective continuity of development,” he said.
Shafie, in a press conference yesterday, said his party could not stop PPBM from spreading its wings to Sabah, and that Warisan would continue to work with the Malay-based party.
