Matrade appoints Wan Latiff as new CEO

His role covers export promotion, strategic planning and management services, says the trade promotion agency.

KUALA LUMPUR:
The Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade) has appointed Wan Latiff Wan Musa as its CEO effective tomorrow.

He replaces Mohd Shahreen Zainoreen Madros, who completed his two-year term with the trade promotion agency today.

Wan Latiff, who was the deputy CEO previously, has been with Matrade since 1997 and has broad experience in the development of trade in the country.

“His leadership role covers several key functions, including export promotion, strategic planning and management services,” Matrade said in a statement.

Matrade is an agency under the international trade and industry ministry mandated to promote trade.
