KUALA LUMPUR:
Kapital DX Sdn Bhd (KLDX) has launched Malaysia’s first initial exchange offering (IEO) platform, opening new investment opportunities for investors in private markets.

KLDX said the platform would provide investors – including high-net worth and retail investors, family offices, and institutions – the opportunity to invest in digital investments backed by underlying assets, such as equity shares, fixed-income instruments and funds.

The operator said it would ensure that only high-quality investments are offered through the platform by implementing a rigorous due diligence process based on its robust internal assessment framework.

“For companies looking to raise money, the KLDX IEO platform provides easier access to capital, at a lower cost and faster time to market, which enables companies to raise capital more efficiently. It allows them to focus on their core business operations and drive innovation,” KLDX said in a statement today.

The platform, registered with and regulated by the Securities Commission, is powered by blockchain technology which ensures a high level of security and transparency for all participants, it said.

It would also actively offer investment products that are focused on environmental, social and governance factors.

Interested parties can visit the KLDX website at www.kldx.com to learn more about the platform or to participate.
