The posts, allegedly uploaded by a PKR member Saifuddin Shafi, mocked Chief Minister Adenan Satem.
PBB Supreme Council member Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah said Saifuddin was “obviously lying and trying to make a quick exit after his tweets and FB messages went viral”.
“I’m amazed with the profanities and uncalled for words used by this individual and wonder whether he has really gone through proper ‘grooming’ at home or by his party.
“I feel sad for him.”
The Asajaya assemblyman and Assistant Housing Minister said this was the reason why Sarawak had barred undesirable personalities from entering the state.
“It’s not because we fear them, but because we do not want hooligans and rascals to pollute our harmonious, peace-loving society,” he said in a statement.
Saifuddin’s post, which featured a link to Dr Afif Bahardin’s tweet after the PKR deputy Youth chief was barred from entering Sarawak, read:
“Adenan Satem, simpanlah negeri kau dalam poket. Nanti bila mati, bawalah imej sebagai seorang tua bodoh yang penuh ketakutan dalam menghadapi kebenaran dan demokrasi. Shame on you bloody old man!”
(Adenan Satem, keep your state in your pocket. When you die, you will leave behind the image of a stupid old man, full of fear in facing the truth and democracy. Shame on you bloody old man!)
Other screenshots show alleged tweets from Saifuddin mocking Adenan with profanities, calling him a P*****k (expletive) and a babi (pig).
The screenshots also allegedly show him warning Adenan that he will be “finished” and called on Sarawak not to be stupid in choosing a chief minister like Adenan.
However, FMT could not find the alleged tweets on Saifuddin’s Twitter account.
Saifuddin later claimed on his Facebook that these tweets were fake, noting that it was not in his nature to use such language and that style of writing was not his.
Meanwhile, Adenan told Bernama that the four people refused entry to the state at the Kuching International Airport this morning showed the state government not only banned those from the Opposition.
He said the men who were barred from entering by the Immigration Department were associated with Umno and had been involved in the Red Shirts rally in Kuala Lumpur on Sept 16 last year.
“This is the answer to Chong’s allegation that we only ban members of the Opposition,” he told reporters after attending the Rimbunan Hijau Group of Companies gathering here today.
Sarawak DAP chairman Chong Chieng Jen had recently alleged that the state government was biased as it only barred leaders of the Opposition.
Sungai Besar Umno division chief Jamal Md Yunos, who is also chairman of Gabungan NGO Melayu, was denied entry to Sarawak.
Also barred from entering were the president of Pertubuhan Gerakan Martabat Pejuang Negara (GMPN) Major (R) Razali Zakaria; chairman of Eratkan Perhubungan Antara Negeri Cetuskan Organisasi (Epanco) Arrifin Abu Bakar and Abdul Rahim Abu Bakar.
