KUALA LUMPUR: An apartment unit in Bukit Antarabangsa here was affected by a landslide following this afternoon’s heavy downpour, says Selangor Fire and Rescue assistant director of operations Mohd Sani Harul.
He said a team from the Ampang fire station rushed to the scene on being alerted by the public of the 4pm incident.
“The team found there was a five-metre deep landslide. Further checks found there was not much damage to the property and that only the back wall of an apartment unit was affected,” he told Bernama.
He added that no casualties were reported and that the matter was handed over to the Ampang Jaya Municipal Council for follow-up action.
