PETALING JAYA:
Police have denied rumours that a 16-year-old boy was driving an RM2 million Lamborghini Aventador which was involved in an accident on Jalan Persiaran Teknologi Subang here.

“There are many rumours flying around that it is a minister’s son and so on. It is not true,” said Subang Jaya police chief Asst Comm Mohammad Azlin Sadari.

He was commenting on a recent Facebook post which claimed that the teenage son of a Tan Sri was driving the vehicle when it crashed.

The Facebook post alleged that the teenager had also crashed into another car, with both drivers suffering light injuries, The Star reported today.

According to Azlin, the driver of the Lamborghini lost control of his vehicle while trying to overtake another car at about 6pm on Tuesday.

“The Lamborghini grazed the car in front before jumping the divider and crashing into a third car coming from the opposite direction,” he said, adding that the Lamborghini and the third car were badly damaged while the second car had minor damage.

He said police were still waiting for all parties to lodge a report on the accident.
