
“Those from the opposition can’t see me and those who lose out are the people (in opposition-held constituencies),” he said at an event in Tongod, Sabah today, where he presented land titles to more than 900 people from 12 villages in Beluran and five villages in Tongod.
Also present were BN candidates Masiung Banah and Bung Mokhtar, who are respectively defending the Kuamut state and Kinabatangan parliamentary seats in the May 9 polls.
Earlier, Masiung said 7,690 people in Tongod had received land titles under Musa’s administration.
“Musa listens to the people and he understands our needs.
“There was a time when only about 20km was paved, but paved roads stretch hundreds of kilometres,” he said.
He believed that other issues such as clean water supply could still be rectified by the BN state government, adding that “a former rural and regional development minister failed to do this”, in an apparent reference to Parti Warisan Sabah president Shafie Apdal.
“Give BN another five years and more will be delivered,” said Masiung.
