PETALING JAYA: A PPBM leader who is also a Cabinet member has mysteriously vanished from a photograph sold for RM500,000 during a Pakatan Harapan charity dinner recently.
The original picture, of Dr Mahathir Mohamad and other top PH leaders hours after he was sworn in following the coalition’s election victory in May, also featured Entrepreneur Development Minister Redzuan Yusof smiling behind the prime minister.
But Redzuan was missing in the version that was sold on Sunday.
When contacted, a senior source in PH confirmed that the picture of Redzuan was missing.
“It’s strange. We are not sure if this is unintentional or has to do with some party rivalry in PPBM,” the source said.
The picture, bought by a tycoon, was among items auctioned during a dinner in Putrajaya to raise funds for the coalition as it entered its seventh month in power.
The event managed to collect about RM2 million.
