PETALING JAYA: The price of RON97 petrol will go up by 3 sen to RM2.46 from midnight.
The prices of RON95 and diesel, meanwhile, remain at RM2.08 and RM2.18 per litre respectively.
In announcing the fuel prices, the finance ministry said the actual price for RON95 should be RM2.16 and diesel at RM2.38, but the government decided to maintain the prices to ensure lower living costs for Malaysians.
Under the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM), prices are announced every Friday and will be in effect for a week.
