PETALING JAYA:
A former managing director of Felcra Training & Consultancy Sdn Bhd will face multiple charges under the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act 2009 at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court tomorrow.

MACC chief commissioner Latheefa Koya said Rohaizat Ahmad has been asked to attend court at 8.30am, and will be charged under Section 23 of the act.

The section deals with the abuse of one’s position for gratification.

Rohaizat was arrested by MACC last September.

Previously, Kinabatangan MP Bung Moktar Radin, who was the non-executive chairman of Felcra, and his wife Zizie Ezette, were charged with corruption amounting to RM2.8 million over Felcra Bhd’s investment in unit trusts worth RM150 million.

He was accused of obtaining for himself RM2.2 million, RM262,500 and RM337,500 from two unit trust agents through investment accounts under Zizie’s name.
