
He arrived in a black Proton Perdana at 11am but did not stop to address members of the media.
His lawyer Muhammad Shafee Abdullah previously said Najib would be summoned as a witness.
The statement in question was posted on Facebook on Sept 29 by an account holder called “Nga Kor Ming Super Fans Page”. It was said to be insulting towards Selangor ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
Najib had shared a screenshot of the post which called on the Chinese to protest against the sultan over the removal of bilingual road signs in the state.
He also said the page was linked to Nga.
Nga, who is Perak DAP chairman, denied that either he or DAP were involved in the post.
He went to Bukit Aman earlier this month to have his statement recorded for investigation under sedition.
