
IPOH: A health ministry staff who was believed to have been under severe stress over his personal health, fell to death at the Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun here yesterday.
The 39-year-old assistant medical officer is understood to have fallen from the third floor of the hospital.
His body was found near the motorcycle parking lot by security guards at 6.30pm.
Ipoh police chief A Asmadi Abdul Aziz said the victim died on the spot from serious head injuries.
“A note was found in his bag,” he said, adding the man was on duty at the time.
The case has been classified as sudden death.
Several friends of the victim told FMT that he looked sad for the past few days though he did not speak of his troubles with anyone.
It is understood that the victim, who was facing some health issues, had been working at the hospital for over a year and had planned to get married in May.
