PETALING JAYA: Police say they have no plans to open an investigation into an incident involving two men getting into a scuffle last night over a parked helicopter.
In a video uploaded on Facebook this morning, two men – one believed to be a Datuk Seri and the other a Datuk – are seen arguing over the helicopter parked in the Datuk Seri’s porch in Puchong.
“I went to his house (the man with the helicopter) this morning and everything is alright,” Serdang district police chief Razali Abu Samah told FMT.
“They are friends who were drinking last night and it was just a misunderstanding,” he said, adding that it is not an offence to park a helicopter at one’s own home.
In the 39-second clip which has since gone viral, the Datuk approached the Datuk Seri from across the road while shouting profanities at him. The two men were then seen getting into a scuffle, shoving one another.
“Me parking the helicopter here is none of your business. You are only a Datuk, don’t be arrogant,” the Datuk Seri was heard saying in Hokkien.
Another man then separated the pair and advised them to calm down.
Meanwhile, the man with the helicopter released a video today in which he said that the Datuk had come over to his house this morning with his wife and children and had apologised for his behaviour, saying that he was drunk.
FMT has reached out to the Facebook account owner for more details.
