PUTRAJAYA: PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang has been admitted to the National Heart Institute (IJN) after complaining of being unwell and suffering from shortness of breath last night.
Hadi had been taken to the Putrajaya Hospital emergency ward at about 7.50 last night.
According to hospital sources, the doctor who examined Hadi later confirmed that he was weak probably out of fatigue.
However, a Covid-19 test was also conducted, before Hadi was transferred to IJN for further examination and treatment.
Also seen at the Putrajaya Hospital last night was de facto law minister Takiyuddin Hassan, who is PAS secretary-general.
PAS Dewan Negara member Ahmad Yahaya, who posted about Hadi’s illness, urged party colleagues and those in allied parties to pray for Hadi’s recovery.
