PETALING JAYA: Fuel prices across the board will remain unchanged, the finance ministry announced today.
RON95 and RON97 will retail at RM2.05 and RM2.54 per litre respectively. The price of diesel, too, remains at RM2.15 a litre.
The new rates will be effective from April 15 until April 21.
The finance ministry said the ceiling price for RON95 and diesel were retained to protect consumers from the global price increase, as market price has exceeded the current ceiling.
“The government will continue to monitor the trends of global crude oil prices and take appropriate measures to ensure the continued welfare and well-being of the people.”
