
In a Facebook post, Noor Hisham said 31 of them were infected less than 14 days after receiving the second dose, while nine contracted the virus more than two weeks later.
Meanwhile, some 142 health workers were infected after the first dose of the vaccine, before their second shot.
“More importantly, all had less severe symptoms. It is clear that we still can be infected after the completion of vaccination but perhaps with less severity.

“Although the vaccine gives a glimmer of hope in the fight against Covid-19, make no mistake, we can’t relax all public health measures after vaccination,” he said.
Malaysia recorded 2,551 Covid-19 cases yesterday, making it the second day in a row that daily infections have surpassed the 2,000-mark.
Infections had been kept to below 2,000 since March 5, when 2,154 cases were reported.
