
In a statement, he said four involved workplaces, three were in schools and the last one was a community cluster.
Three clusters were detected in Sarawak, two in Sabah and one each in Selangor, Johor and Pahang.
Clusters that recorded the highest spike in infections today are the Ulu Balingian (101 cases), Jalan Bukit Belida (37) and Jalan Kota Kubang Labu (32) clusters.

The new clusters are:
Sarawak:
Jalan Ding Lik Kwong – a workplace cluster in Sibu. The index case tested positive on April 13 in a screening after exhibiting symptoms. It involves a public institution on Jalan Ding Lik Kwong. 43 were screened and 16 tested positive.
Ulu Balingian – a school/education institute cluster in Selangau. The index cases tested positive on April 17 after students at a school in Ulu Balingian were screened. 200 were screened and 101 tested positive.
Jalan Disa – a school/education institute cluster in Sibu. The index case tested positive on April 14 in a screening after exhibiting symptoms. It involves a school on Jalan Disa. 199 were screened and 20 tested positive.
Sabah:
Jalan Damai Tawau – a workplace cluster in Tawau. The index case tested positive on April 13 in a screening after exhibiting symptoms. It involves a service centre on Jalan Damai. 65 were screened and 14 tested positive.
Bukit Quoin – a workplace cluster in Tawau. The index case tested positive on April 10 in a screening after exhibiting symptoms. It involves a public educational institution at Tawau Hill. 19 were screened and 11 tested positive.
Johor:
Wawasan Lima – a workplace cluster in Batu Pahat. The index case tested positive on April 12 in a screening after exhibiting symptoms. It involves a factory on Jalan Wawasan 5. 178 were screened and 10 tested positive.
Selangor:
Jalan Maktab – a school/education institute cluster involving Sepang and Hulu Langat in Selangor as well as Putrajaya. The index case tested positive on April 15 in a screening after exhibiting symptoms. It involves an education institute on Jalan Maktab, Bandar Baru Bangi. 42 were screened and nine tested positive.
Pahang:
Seri Kuantan – a community cluster involving Kuantan in Pahang and Cheras in KL. The index case tested positive on April 16 in a screening after exhibiting symptoms. It involves an event held in Kuala Lumpur on April 10. 111 were screened and 18 tested positive.
Clusters closed:
Seven clusters officially ended today, namely the Pulau Pisang, Bukit Marak, Dagang Permai, Perusahaan Jalan Bukit, Jalan Lapangan Terbang, Jalan Rawang and Teratai clusters.
There are now 347 active clusters remaining out of the total 1,515 reported.
