4 new Covid-19 clusters, 3 in workplaces

The clusters were detected in Selangor, Johor, Pahang and Kuala Lumpur.

Three of the new clusters involve workplaces and one was detected at an education centre.
PETALING JAYA:
The health ministry has detected four new Covid-19 clusters in the past 24 hours, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.

In a statement, he said three were workplace clusters and one was an education cluster.

The clusters were detected in Selangor, Johor, Pahang and Kuala Lumpur.

Selangor

  • Industri Perusahaan Lorong Perak Tiga: A workplace cluster linked to a factory in Telok Panglima Garang. It involves Kuala Langat. 116 screened, 13 positive.

Johor

  • Industri Jalan Peserai: A workplace cluster linked to a factory in Parit Sulong. It involves Batu Pahat. 239 screened, 19 positive.

Pahang

  • Gambut Kuantan: A workplace cluster linked to a public administration centre. It involves Kuantan. The index case was detected on Nov 9. 32 screened, 8 positive.

Kuala Lumpur

  • Jalan Setiawangsa Utama: A cluster linked to an educational facility in Taman Setiawangsa. It involves Titiwangsa. The index case was detected on Nov 9. 27 screened, 6 positive.
