
Speaking on the sidelines of an event in Kota Samarahan today, the Bersatu Supreme Council member however said she had not received any offers to date.
“I have not received any offers. So, I don’t know yet.
“I will consider. Any offer must be considered. We cannot reject it outright,” she said.
Zuraida, who is a former PKR vice-president, was asked to comment on speculation that she would lead the newly formed Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM).
Previously, sources in the know told FMT that Zuraida would be trading Bersatu for PBM, a multiracial party that aims to fight for a “moderate Malaysia”.
Two former PKR men, Julau MP Larry Sng and Tebrau MP Steven Choong, are part of PBM. Sng is its deputy president and Choong its senior vice-president.
