PETALING JAYA: Environment and water minister Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man has tested positive for Covid-19, he said in a Facebook post.
“I, four children and one grandchild have tested positive for Covid-19,” he said. “We have been under quarantine for the past few days.”
He asked for everyone’s prayers on the matter.
Tuan Ibrahim, who is also Kubang Kerian MP, added that his grandchild was born yesterday.
He confirmed the baby tested negative for Covid-19 but the mother was still being warded in Sungai Buloh Hospital.
Recently, Tuan Ibrahim was criticised by many for going missing during the devastating floods that hit the Klang Valley and Pahang.
Some reports said he was away performing his umrah.
