
The judged lodged a police report today saying he had filed a report at the Ampang police station on Dec 12 last year against the woman.
In today’s report, which was sighted by FMT, he denied the allegation and said he had given his full cooperation to the police.
He had also provided names of certain individuals under his department to assist in the investigations.
He claimed those responsible for making such allegations only wanted to tarnish his reputation and snatch his post.
This morning, the judge filed another police report, this time against an Umno man for posting a video on social media talking about the sexual harassment allegations against the judge.
This video has gone viral and the judge said the Umno man’s actions were done with malice and amounted to criminal defamation.
Lawyer Akberdin Abdul Kader, representing the judge, told FMT that a letter of demand for defamation would be sent to the Umno man tomorrow, followed by a writ of summons against him to be filed at the Kuala Lumpur court.
Yesterday, FMT reported that a 57-year-old woman had filed a police report against the senior judge for sexual harassment.
The woman claimed that the incident happened when he visited her family home in August 2020.
