KOTA KINABALU: Sabah has done away with health declaration forms for entry to the state from tomorrow. Arriving travellers need only show their vaccination status on the MySejahtera app.
Local government and housing minister Masidi Manjun said the decision was made at the recommendation of the state health department.
Masidi said Sabah had recorded a total of 622 new Covid-19 infections today, a decrease of 223 cases compared to yesterday.
He said the lower number was heavily influenced by the decline in new cases in districts such as Kota Kinabalu, Penampang and Tuaran.
“However, the percentage of sporadic infections is still high, almost 64% and this means that the risk of infection remains high, especially in public places,” he said.
