PKR polls: Rafizi leading in Kedah, Kelantan, Johor, but trails in Sabah

Rafizi Ramli has extended his lead against Saifuddin Nasution Ismail in the race for the deputy presidency, defeating the latter in Johor, Kedah, and Kelantan.

Rafizi, however, is trailing the former federal minister in Sabah.

Earlier today, the former Pandan MP defeated Saifuddin in Melaka, and was leading in Selangor. He also won in seven of the eight divisions in Negeri Sembilan.

According to the party’s website, Rafizi won in 10 of the 14 divisions in Kelantan with 3,647 votes against Saifuddin’s 1,567 votes.

Rafizi also won 11 out of the 15 divisions in Kedah, with 4,761 votes against Saifuddin’s 2,274 votes.

He also won 23 of the 26 divisions in Johor, while Saifuddin managed to win only three.

However, Saifuddin bagged 8,539 votes in Sabah compared to Rafizi’s 6,814. He won six out of 25 divisions in the state.

Meanwhile, in Kedah, Wanita PKR’s legal and community development bureau chief Fadhlina Sidek was defeated by Selangor Wanita PKR chief Rodziah Ismail in the battle for the Wanita chief’s position.
