KUALA LUMPUR:
Police will record statements from four more people to complete the investigation paper in connection with the Turun anti-inflation protest rally last week.

Dang Wangi district police chief Noor Delihan Yahaya said police have already recorded statements from 27 people, including politicians and student activists.

However, the deputy public prosecutor’s office had returned the investigation paper with instructions to record statements from four others.

Noor Delihan said the four people would be called in soon.

On July 23, about 100 people holding placards and banners gathered outside the Sogo shopping centre at about 1.40pm to protest against rising prices.
