PETALING JAYA: Police have arrested 12 men in connection with the vandalism of an entertainment centre in Cheras yesterday.
Kuala Lumpur police chief Fadil Marsus said a remand order had been sought against the suspects and that investigations were ongoing.
He said police also seized several vehicles believed to be linked to the incident.
“The case is being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code for mischief and Section 148 for rioting while armed,” he said in a statement today.
Yesterday, police said a group of men used a lorry to force open the outlet’s gate before breaking into the premises and destroying several items.
