It will not stand in seats held by PH.

PSM deputy chairman S Arutchelvan said the party will contest one parliamentary and one state seat.
KUALA LUMPUR:
Parti Sosialis Malaysia (PSM) will contest one parliamentary and one state seat in the coming general election (GE15).

Its deputy chairman S Arutchelvan said they will not place a candidate in seats currently held by Pakatan Harapan.

The party’s candidates are S Tinagaran (Rembau) and K S Bawani (Ayer Kuning).

Tinagaran is the state secretary for Negeri Sembilan PSM while Bawani is the Perak PSM chairman.

Arutchelvan also said that as a socialist party, PSM had something different to offer compared to other parties.

“All our candidates are activists, and our candidates will carry the voice of the grassroots.”

He also said that the party will not seek another electoral pact with any other coalition.
