In a statement, federal police secretary Noorsiah Saaduddin said the fake profile was found in a group chat promoting an investment scheme called “Amundi”.

The authorities have confirmed that Acryl Sani was not involved in the investment scheme and are investigating the misuse of his identity.

Police are also investigating the investment scheme.

Noorsiah urged the public to be mindful of investment schemes that may potentially be scams.
