PAS information chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari had challenged Pang to state where she completed her studies, saying it “would be interesting to know”.
In a Facebook post, the Pakatan Harapan candidate attached copies of her results for SPM and UPSR, showing straight As for both of the major examinations.
“The Pasir Mas MP asked (where I sat for my) UPSR and SPM. This is the answer,” said the alumnus of Sekolah Menengah Chung Hua Port Dickson and SJKC (national-type Chinese school) On Pong in Ampang.
Pang said she owed her results to her teachers for educating her, and her parents for not neglecting her education.
Fadhli later pointed out that she had gone to a vernacular primary school while he was unsure whether Sekolah Menengah Chung Hua was the same.
He nevertheless thanked Pang for disclosing her education details, and said, “The voters can make the best call.”
Pang is in a four-way fight for the Kuala Kubu Baharu seat against Perikatan Nasional’s Khairul Azhari Saut, Parti Rakyat Malaysia’s Hafizah Zainuddin and independent candidate Nyau Ke Xin.
The seat fell vacant following the death of three-term DAP assemblyman Lee Kee Hiong on March 21 from cancer.
