PETALING JAYA:
Police are investigating a man who is alleged to have made insulting remarks about Islam in an expletive-laden rant in a video clip posted on Facebook.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Rusdi Isa said the man is undergoing mental health treatment at a hospital, and a statement would be taken “in the near future”.

Rusdi urged the public not to share the clip as it could create uneasiness among the people.

The investigation is being conducted for causing religious disharmony and for the deliberate use of vulgarity to disturb the peace.
