Driver burnt to death after car crashes into pillar on Federal Highway

The incident occurred at around 6.20am today after the victim lost control of his car and skidded before ramming into an LRT pillar.

PETALING JAYA:
The driver of a car was burnt to death after it crashed into an LRT pillar on the Federal Highway, headed towards Kuala Lumpur.

Petaling Jaya deputy police chief Hussin Sollehuddin Zolkifly said the incident occurred at around 6.20am today after the victim lost control of his vehicle and skidded before ramming into the pillar.

The collision caused the car to burst into flames.

“The remains were brought to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre. Until now, the victim has not been identified,” he said in a statement.

Hussin urged witnesses or those with a dash camera recording of the incident to come forward and assist police in their investigations.
