Pasir Puteh fire and rescue officials found the man after rushing to the Siti Hajar market following an emergency call at 4.59am, reported Berita Harian.

Siti Nor Raihan Harami, operations commander of the Pasir Puteh fire and rescue station, said the man who was believed to be in his 40s was confirmed dead at the scene by medical officers.

Pasir Puteh police chief Zaizul Rizal Zakaria confirmed the death and said the police would share more information after completing their report on the incident.
