PETALING JAYA: A 17-year-old girl died after a wooden beam fell on her at a temple in Tanjong Sepat, near Kuala Langat, Selangor, yesterday.
District police chief Akmalrizal Radzi said a report was received at about 8.35pm.
“She suffered serious injuries to her head. It is understood that she had visited the temple with her family,” he was quoted as saying by Berita Harian.
He also said police did not find elements of foul play and the case has been classified as sudden death.
