
Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) said policemen detained the suspect at the Tanjung Malim station after the incident was reported to crew members.
“The suspect was handed over to the police for further investigation. The victim was also given assistance after filing a police report.
“KTMB views such misconduct or harassment seriously as it affects the safety and wellbeing of our passengers. We remain committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for all our users,” it said in a Facebook post.
KTMB said others who experience or witness suspicious activity at stations or onboard its trains should immediately report to the crew or authorities so swift action can be taken.
