PETALING JAYA: Police are investigating a motorist who allegedly drove against traffic on the Damansara-Puchong Expressway (LDP), leading to a three-vehicle crash on Sunday.
Serdang police chief Farid Ahmad said police received a report on the incident at 1.07pm yesterday.
“The Honda City crashed into a Perodua Axia and Honda CR-V travelling from Sunway towards Puchong.
“As a result, the Honda City driver suffered injuries and is being treated in hospital,” he was quoted as saying by Kosmo.
The drivers of the Perodua Axia and Honda CR-V were unharmed.
Farid said a blood sample had been taken from the driver and would be sent to the chemistry department for further analysis.
The case is being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving.
