Body of boy who fell into Puncak Alam drain found 10km away in Sungai Buloh

The boy was reportedly swept away by strong currents during heavy rain on Tuesday.

The body of a 10-year-old boy who went missing after reportedly falling into a drain in Bandar Puncak Alam on Tuesday was found on a riverbank in Sungai Buloh today.

The boy’s body was discovered roughly 10km from where he reportedly fell into a drain and was swept away by strong currents during heavy rain, reported Sinar Harian.

A member of the Saujana Utama volunteer fire brigade which was conducting search operations in the area spotted his body.

Selangor fire and rescue department northern zone 7 chief Samsol Maarif Saibani said the boy’s body was handed over to the police.

“The victim was found fully clothed, still wearing a light-coloured shirt and black trousers,” he said.
