MACC senior investigations director Hafaz Nazar said Rafizi arrived at the anti-graft agency’s headquarters in Putrajaya at about 2pm and concluded giving his statement for today at about 7pm.
“We will continue taking his statement tomorrow. He is expected to arrive in the morning,” he said in a statement.
MACC is investigating alleged misconduct in the strategic partnership agreement between the economy ministry and Arm Holdings.
It interviewed Rafizi’s former officer, James Chai, for three days last week.
The government had committed US$225 million (RM930.52 million) to a four-year partnership with Arm Holdings to lower barriers for Malaysian companies seeking access to its intellectual property and technology.
Earlier today, MACC chief Azam Baki said the commission recommended charging two people in connection with the case, although investigations have not been completed yet.
Azam said the probe was nearing completion with statements taken from 22 people, including Rafizi and Chai.
