Police investigate death fall from Jalan Ampang tower

Police have confirmed that a person fell from a tower block in Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, this afternoon and that the case is being investigated as one of sudden death.

Wangsa Maju police chief Annas Sulaiman told FMT in a brief message that police received a report on the matter.

A video has been widely shared on social media, with netizens saying the incident occurred at about 1pm in the midst of the azan for zuhur prayers.

No information was immediately available on the identity of the person.
