JOHOR BAHRU:
Barisan Nasional component parties MCA and MIC have expressed full support for the coalition’s decision to contest all 56 state assembly seats in the coming Johor election.

Johor MCA Youth chief Ling Tian Soon said the decision announced today by Johor BN chairman Onn Hafiz Ghazi was “a bold, accurate and far-sighted move” to ensure BN continues to lead Johor with stability.

He said MCA would work tirelessly to ensure BN continues to earn the mandate to govern the state.

He said since BN formed the government with a two-thirds majority in 2022, Johor under Onn Hafiz’s leadership has recorded excellent economic performance as a result of the political stability enjoyed by the state.
