Earthquake of 5.4 magnitude strikes Sulawesi, Indonesia

The quake struck 129 km southeast of the city of Palu at a depth of 10 km, revised from an originally reported magnitude of 5.8 and depth of 36 km.

A magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck the Indonesian island of Sulawesi of Sunday, the US Geological Survey said.

The quake struck 129 km southeast of the city of Palu at a depth of 10 km. It was revised from an originally reported magnitude of 5.8 and depth of 36 km.

There were no immediate reports of damage.

A quake-and-tsunami disaster killed more than 2,000 people on Sulawesi last year.
