The death toll from floods in Kenya has reached 76 people over the past day, reported Sputnik quoting Kenyan media, citing government data.

In addition, 29 people have received injuries, while 19 others are missing, The Sunday Standard news portal reported on Saturday.

The report added that Nairobi County was severely affected by the natural disaster, with almost 17,000 households being displaced.
