With the launch of the Royal Canin Club, pet owners can now use this nifty mobile application, available for Android and iOS, to learn more about the best practices of pet care.
This educational application empowers pet owners by educating them to make informed choices in the best interest of their pets.
Royal Canin has long worked with pet professionals to provide pets with the most precise nutrition as well as developing a variety of services and tools to understand them better.

This application is one of their latest initiatives in putting the wellbeing of pets in Malaysia first and foremost.
According to Dmitriy Sokolov, Royal Canin Malaysia Market Head, the application is explicitly designed as a mobile guide for pet owners to make life better for their furry companions.
“We achieve this through informative and engaging content on topics like diet and nutrition, digestive health, neonatal to ageing care, skin and coat care, pet training and behaviours, and their general wellbeing,” said Sokolov, speaking to FMT.
This is especially important as the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has increased the time people spend at home with their pets.

With about 2.2 million cats and 1.2 million dogs being kept as pets in Malaysia, it is vital that owners know what is best for their animals’ wellbeing.
Sokolov said, “As Malaysians are spending more time at home due to the ongoing pandemic, pets have been a great companion to help pet owners cope with the uncertainties.”
As such, the Royal Canin Club offers a personalised user experience to pet owners, by setting up a pet profile with details about its breed and health.
This isn’t the first time that Royal Canin has launched such an application, with Royal Canin Thailand having launched the application first and successfully.

Once said profile has been set up, application users will be provided with content relevant to them and their pets.
That’s not all though, as by completing tasks provided on the application, pet owners will be able to earn and collect points to redeem valuable prizes.
“Attractive rewards include Royal Canin merchandise such as canned and wet pouch food products for dogs and cats to name a few,” Sokolov said.
Next year, pet owners will also be able to collect points through their Royal Canin purchases.

By registering for the Royal Canin Club application, pet owners will be rewarded with a welcome voucher and gift set which they can redeem at any participating pet shop nationwide (while stocks last).
And while the application is already well-designed to ensure it is as user-friendly as possible, Royal Canin will also provide avenues for users to make enquiries regarding the application.

To ensure that it can keep up to date with the constantly evolving needs of the consumer, the Royal Canin Club application will also be subjected to constant updates and innovation.
“In fact, recently, we announced a brand new special and enhanced features to the app which include a free gift set home delivery feature where Royal Canin will personally deliver the gift set – exclusive to members of the app – to their respective doorsteps for them to enjoy,” added Sokolov.
In the next year, new and exciting features are in the pipeline, including a point-on-purchase feature, Royal Canin Club’s launch in veterinarian clinic and points awarded for friend referrals.
So, what reason do you have not to download the application? Create your account now, collect points and learn more about taking better care of your furry friends!
